Anesthesiology
Anesthesiology, the offical journal for the American society of Anesthesiologists, was first publish in July of 1940, under the direction of its first Editor-in-chief, Henry Ruth M.D. Anesthesiology is condidered the largest journal in its field, with a circulation of 38,000. of the over 15,000 manuscripts submitted for peer-review each year, 50% of them come from outside the United States, as do about 6000 of the subscribers. Tghe journal is published on a monthly basis, and is indexed as a "core" journal by the Nation Library of Medicine.
