CustomVue and Iris Registration FDA Approved

Lasik's CustomVue now has FDA approval to high myopia and myopic astigmatism. Advanced Medical Optics (AMO) is saying that because of this, CustomVue procedure holds the highest range of myopia and astigmatism treatment. The results shown from the procedure are incredible. 98.3% of people who recieved CustomVue high myopia treatment were seeing 20/40 or better six months after the procedure.

The way CustomVue works is by using wavefront-guided technology to provide an intricate map the way any certain individual processes images.

A related procedure that has been recently FDA approved is called Iris Registration, a system in which the laser maintains alignment regardless of eye movement. The laser can sense the iris of the eye, and then focuses to make the procedure specific for that particular eye. Both advancements should provide happy prospects for future patients!

If you're thinking about Lasik eye surgery or have high myopia and myopic astigmatism problems, try consulting a Lasik professional, such as Dr. Buckley from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Dr. Danzo, from Denver, Colorado and Dr. Carter from Dallas, Texas.
